The Feast of the Virgin of Caysasay

The Feast of the Virgin of Caysasay – The feast is celebrated on the 8th day of December every year, the day when Fernando Quiroga y Palascios, then the Spanish representative of Pope Pius XII, celebrated the solemn canonical coronation of the Virgin of Caysasay in 1954. This miraculous wooden image is eight inches (203 mm) high, bearing signs of long immersion in water.
