This unique religious festival is described by pulling the cordon of electric lights at the carrosa of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The word Hila means “to pull.” In the procession, a beautiful picture is presented by the young girls and ladies in their ternos as they make up the hila. This event is celebrated the second Sunday of October.
