“#NoFilter” uncovers the rich history of Taal tucked in the southern part of Batangas as it shows how the town rose from the ashes of disaster following the recent eruption of Taal Volcano. The catastrophe posed serious threats to both human and animal life, and endangered the social and cultural life that Taaleños have preserved through the years after it blanketed Taal and other nearby towns in volcanic ash. The program takes a look at how the disaster impacted the Agoncillo Museum, the Leon and Galicano Apacible Museum, Casa Punzalan, the Basilica of St. Martin of Tours, and the Galleria Taal. It also presents the history of the said historical sites. Abner Mercado then learns how both cultural workers and locals braved the ashfall to save valuable historical artifacts being preserved in the town.
